This cozy apartment rental in the heart of Sète will allow you to discover this beautiful Mediterranean city. Ideally situated, the apartment is close to many restaurants known for their fine cuisine, that showcase the products of the sea.
After a pleasant walk of a few minutes along the Quai Delattre de Tassigny, you will find the restaurant of the Grand Hotel de Sète, the Quai 17. It serves a refined cuisine, tasty and modern and inspired by the flavors of the region, in an elegant setting: thick white tablecloths, moldings and chandeliers.
For a meal “à la bonne franquette”, but absolutely delicious, go just around the corner at Pasta Politi. Italian cuisine is revisited brilliantly, such as the beef lasagna bourguignon or the salty tiramisu.
At the foot of Mont Saint-Clair, a little further away from the hyped-center, the restaurant Le Mistral serves dishes of the sea that bring water to the mouth, on its pretty terrace which fills up quickly during the summer.
The cozy apartment rental in the heart of Sète also opens the doors to the coast: Sète has 12 kilometers of beaches along l’étang de Thau, such as the beautiful beach of Lido, or the beach of the Corniche, just at the exit of the city, which is the favorite of the locals.
L’étang de Thau is a beautiful natural territory that is home to a remarkable biodiversity. Mirroring the sunset, its calm waters invite serenity. Egrets, flamingos and avocets - aptly named "elegant" - are just a small part of the rich fauna that inhabit the basin. For centuries, humans and nature have lived in harmony, even if this fragile area must be protected from over-intensive exploitation.
The hill of Mont Saint-Clair watches over the city nestled at its feet. On its flanks are several famous places of Sète: the chapel Notre-Dame de Salette and the marine cemetery immortalized by Paul Valéry.
It is rare to have bad weather in Sète, because the Mediterranean climate is clement. However, in case of heavy rain - or hot weather, more likely - one can take refuge in the galleries of the Regional Center of Contemporary Art and be intrigued by the explorations of demanding artists, according to exhibitions regularly renewed.
